15-year-old boy's fingers broken: Narek Karapetyan on the incident in Shaki village

The children arrived and saw that the gate lock was broken. The daughter called and said, "Mom, the lock is broken; someone has broken into the house." She didn't hang up the phone; she walked in while still talking and saw the kitchen in total disarray—someone had prepared and eaten a meal there. They entered the living room and saw him lying there with an assault rifle in his hand. He lunged at the children, and they screamed, "Don't touch us! Don't shoot!" The mother heard it all over the phone. My sister grabbed a knife, and she and her husband rushed to the village.
She arrived to find the gate locked, so she went through the neighbor's yard, climbed over the wall, and got inside. She said, "I walked in, and the children screamed, 'Mom, don't come any closer—he's armed.'" She thought, "How could this be? My children are inside with an armed man." She said, "I didn't even stop to think about how I was moving forward." When he saw her, he became agitated and pointed the weapon at the child, intending to fire; my sister shielded the child with her hand, and the shot struck her fingers—she has lost three fingers now. The tips of the two fingers next to the little finger were amputated, as was the thumb.
Then he shot her in the leg. At that moment, he ran out of ammunition and tried to reload; my sister, despite her injuries, managed to reach him and struck him several times with a knife—on the neck, chest, and head. When my sister collapsed—weakened and bleeding heavily—he attacked her again and struck her once more; I do not know if he used the weapon to do so. She says she cannot remember the rest; she had lost consciousness.
At that moment, the 15-year-old boy, Kajik, seeing that his mother had fainted, punched the Azerbaijani man in the head; the force of the blow broke the boy's fingers.
