Some circles on the Internet are sparing no effort to convince people that Father Aram Asatryan is being persecuted, and an attempt is being made to link all this to the circumstance that the reason is allegedly the reception of the Prime Minister's wife Anna Hakobyan at St. Hovhannavank, Father Mushe Vahanyan stated this.

"In fact, this reception took place with the knowledge of the Primate of the Aragatsotn Diocese. Father Aram Asatryan hosted the wife of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia at Hovhannavank in May 2024, and after that he did not receive any written or verbal reprimand."

Mrs. Anna Hakobyan has also had similar visits to other monasteries and churches.
