The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “Armavir regional governor Vahram Khachatryan, who has declared a crusade against the corners of glory that have been in the regional schools for years and is personally overseeing the process of removing them, according to information received from the region, has also begun to exert pre-election pressure on the directors of schools and kindergartens.
One of them told us that the regional governor demands lists from them of who are the potential voters of the CP and who are the suspicious ones. He personally checks the lists, then instructs the director to resolve the “issue” of the dissidents, either to make them voters of the CP or to dismiss them from their jobs.
They say that some, driven by fear, say that they will vote for the CP, and present that their collectives are exclusively pro-government. And if someone naively admits that there are anti-government elements in their team, the governor personally makes decisions.
