If you ask, they will say that if we talk, there will be no peace on the border, we will provoke a war and other nonsense. Former NA deputy Tigran Abrahamyan wrote about this.

“During one of the discussions in the NA, a representative of the ruling power asked a question: was the sale of $5 billion worth of arms by Russia to Azerbaijan a threat?

All those processes, be they military, political or economic, by which Azerbaijan has strengthened, become stronger and consolidated its potential, have been, are and will be a threat to Armenia.

The question here is different, but how did the Armenian authorities respond to it at different times?

For example, during those same deals, Serzh Sargsyan, not only in closed meetings, but also in his public speech, many times, in meetings in different formats, warned the Russian authorities that these deals were not perceptible and acceptable in our country. Another topic is how the issue was discussed at that time and, as a result, what supplies it led to for Armenia.

Azerbaijan continues to make large-scale military purchases from Israel, Pakistan, China, Turkey, and various European countries before and after the Washington agreement.
