The *Iravunk* newspaper writes: "Mkhitar Matevosyan—the Civil Contract (QP) candidate for Vayk who holds a dubious diploma and uses state funds for his own business (and who boasts to everyone about how 'gutsy' he is, claiming no one dared to run against him)—turns out to be in a rather unenviable position.

Specifically, according to well-informed Civil Contract sources, Pashinyan issued a warning to him and the party members who had vouched for him: 'If you don't ensure a turnout of over 60 percent, you won't escape my wrath; I’ve had enough—I have all your dossiers right here on my desk, so don't push me too far.'
