Kim Kardashian looked gorgeous at the 10th Annual Breakthrough Awards in Los Angeles.

Kardashian chose an Alaia dress that was specially made for her. The white leather dress with a criss-cross collar stood out with a slit in the back

with additional incisions in the chest and sides. It was combined with white and transparent shoes. Kim chose not to use any jewelry to keep the focus on the dress itself.

The event brought together a number of celebrities including Margot Robbie, Jessica Chastain, Olivia Wilde and Brie Larson.

According to a press release, the evening, which was held at the Los Angeles Academy Museum, was organized in honor of those who have achieved success in the fields of mathematics and science; each awardee received $3 million.

Although show business is not at the center of the gala, it has always attracted a group of stars who walk the red carpet and hand out awards.
