On May 11, at 05:21, the Ararat Regional Operational Management Center received an alarm that a traffic accident had occurred on the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway. Rescuers' assistance was needed.
One combat crew from the fire and rescue squad of the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Emergency Service left for the scene.
It turned out that at the 21st kilometer of the Yerevan-Yeraskh highway, an “Opel” car left the roadway and ended up upside down in the adjacent middle of the field. The driver was trapped in the car.
Rescuers turned off the car's power, closed the gas cylinder valve, and used special equipment to remove the driver from the car and bring him closer to the ambulance. The injured person was hospitalized.
