One of the stabbed women died in the hospital, the suspect was found in the restaurant

On March 24, at 11:19, a report was received from the "Armenia" medical center of the Mashtots police department that the ambulance team took a person from a house on the 1st lane of Khoren Khachatryan street to medical care with cut-perforated bleeding wounds of the chest and anterior abdominal wall, 64- years old and 30-year-old women with cut-perforated wounds of the anterior wall of the left half of the chest. This is reported by the RA police.

The operative group that left the department found out that during an argument in the said house at 10:30 a.m., a 40-year-old man hit two neighboring women with a sharp cutting-piercing object and ran away.

While efforts were being made to locate the 40-year-old man, the hospital reported that the 64-year-old woman had died.

As a result of the urgent operational and investigative measures taken by officers of the Mashtots police department, at 8:20 p.m., a 40-year-old man was found in one of the restaurant complexes of the village of Jrvezh, Kotayk region, arrested on reasonable suspicion of murder and causing bodily harm and transferred to the Mashtots police department.

Also, documents were compiled and submitted to the investigative department.
