Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Senior Advisor to the US Special Envoy for Peace Missions Arye Lightstone. The meeting was also attended by Konstantin Sokolov, President of the Trans-Caspian Enterprises Foundation. This was reported by the Government's press service.
"The Prime Minister highlighted the role of the United States, and in particular President Donald Trump, in establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, emphasizing that a stable and positive atmosphere has formed in the region since August 8, 2025. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of promoting the agreements reached and expressed satisfaction with their progress."
Aryeh Lightstone conveyed to Nikol Pashinyan the congratulations of President Trump, Vice President J.D. Vance, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio on his re-appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia. He expressed confidence that under Nikol Pashinyan’s leadership, Armenia will continue to consistently implement its priorities and take steps to strengthen democracy.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the implementation of the TRIPP project, expressing confidence that as a result of the resolution of technical issues, practical steps in that direction will be even more visible in the near future.
"Thoughts were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest," the statement said.
