Russian forces have established control over Novaya Kazachya in the Kharkiv region: Russian Defense Ministry.
Russian units have dislodged elements of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, who had turned the village into a fortified position.
Control was established thanks to the actions of a unit from the "North" military grouping.
The Russian Ministry of Defense noted that Russian armed forces are continuing active combat operations to liberate the villages of Prikolotnoye and Sosnovy Bor in the Kharkiv region.
Novaya Kazachya is a village in the Kharkiv region located approximately 3 km south of the village of Kazachya Lopan, in the immediate vicinity of the Russian-Ukrainian border.
It is worth recalling that early in the morning on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced the decision to launch a special military operation against Ukraine, following requests for assistance from the LPR and DPR. Hostilities are ongoing to this day.
