The "Hraparak" daily writes: Nikol Pashinyan has agreed to Azerbaijan's next demand to change the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, in particular, to abandon the reference to the Declaration of Independence.
This is evidenced by the first paragraph of the Washington Agreement stating that after the initialing of the peace treaty, "we recognized the need to continue further actions towards the signing and final ratification of the Agreement and emphasized the importance of maintaining and strengthening peace between our two countries."
After this agreement, official Baku revealed that they had given Pashinyan a homework assignment: he must change the Constitution, after which they would only sign the final version of the agreement. It should be noted that after a long break, the Constitutional Reform Council convened a session weeks ago.
According to our information, this council will soon hold active sessions to write a new constitution, trying to present it as a demand put forward by the Armenian society.
