The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and impassable roads in the territory of Armenia.

The roads leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari and Amberd Fortress in Aragatsotn region are closed.

Vardenyats Pass (snow) is difficult to pass for trucks with a trailer (passable only with chains). There is snow in the Ashtarak and Aragats regions, in Kotayk province. There is black ice in places in the Aragats, Aparan, Ashtarak and Ashotsk regions, on the Yerevan-Sevan highway. There is fog in the Ashtarak and Talin regions.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.
