We are in contact with representatives of our national structure in Iran, I assure you that there is no great panic or emigration mood at the moment, but the country is in the midst of a large-scale war, we have a large number of compatriots, national structures, and there is great concern. Ishkhan Saghatelyan, representative of the Supreme Body of the ARF in Armenia, stated at an invited press conference, referring to the war in neighboring Iran and the issue of possible dangers for the Republic of Armenia.
"Are these authorities taking steps to neutralize or mitigate these threats? Looking at their past 7 years of activity, it is a history of failure, defeat, and setbacks. Whether they are taking steps in this regard or not is not publicly visible, and I find it difficult to say whether they are doing so internally or not," he said.
According to Saghatelyan, this danger exists at least in the case of Syunik, and the concern is that Azerbaijan will take advantage of the situations taking place in Iran.
