CP MP Arman Yeghoyan wrote on his Facebook page: “The danger of what Kocharyan said is not that he wants to turn Armenia into a springboard for serving the interests of third countries. If he wanted Armenia, even at the cost of bloodshed, to be a springboard or an outpost, then he would not have allowed the military budgets of Armenia and Azerbaijan to increase from a ratio of 1:1.08 to a ratio of 1:5.3 during his rule, to the detriment of Armenia. Moreover, the third country he knew would not have allowed this if it REALLY considered us as an outpost. Now he says that it was the most peaceful in its time. Of course, it was the most peaceful, because no one fights while arming... they arm, train, reach a certain level, and then enter the fight. The problem is that, under the guise of creating a worthy bridgehead or a strong outpost, he simply wants to burn Armenia like a matchstick in the furnace of a third country's geopolitical interests. Just light it, heat it up a little, and that's it.

"This is such a cruel romance."
