Winter conscription will begin on January 7, 2026, demobilization on January 8

At today's government session, a decision was made "On announcing the winter conscription of the regular military service for 2025 and demobilization." It is planned to set the period for replenishment of the Armed Forces within the framework of the conscription from January 7 to January 31, 2026, and to implement the demobilization of servicemen who have completed compulsory military service from January 8 to January 31, 2026 inclusive.

As part of the winter conscription, female citizens who have submitted an application for compulsory military service on a voluntary basis by October 1, 2025 will be conscripted into compulsory military service as privates.
