At 6 o'clock, a man opened the establishment's window using a specialized tool and entered; he encountered resistance from an employee and snatched 50,000 drams from their hand. He also attempted to open the establishment's safe but failed and fled the scene.

Criminal proceedings for robbery were initiated at the investigative department for the Kentron and Nork-Marash administrative districts. In this instance, cooperation between officers from the Yerevan City Department of the Criminal Police—specifically the units dedicated to combating property crimes and providing technical support—yielded quick results.

On the evening of September 8, a 36-year-old man was detained near his home in the Vardashen neighborhood on suspicion of committing the robbery and was brought before the investigative authority.

The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
