On September 27, 2020, the Azerbaijani armed forces launched large-scale offensive operations against the Republic of Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia.

The fighting, which lasted 44 days, involved a number of cities and towns in Artsakh, accompanied by heavy shelling and the use of drones. During the war, there were casualties among both military personnel and civilians. In October and November, the most intense clashes took place in the areas of Shushi, Hadrut and nearby villages.

On November 9, 2020, a trilateral statement was signed between the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Russia, confirming a ceasefire and new lines for the deployment of troops.

The flow of people to the Yerablur military pantheon began early this morning.
