Today, February 22, at around 15:50, operative information was received that there was a body in the Hrazdan River under the Haghtanak Bridge. As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, it turned out on the spot that the operative information received was reliable. A man’s body was found in the middle of the Hrazdan River.
Rescuers from one of the Yerevan fire and rescue squads of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs Rescue Service arrived on an alarm call to remove the deceased’s body from the river. Whether the incident was a suicide, murder, or an accident is also being determined.
