About 700 Armenian trucks are piled up at the Upper Lars checkpoint on the Russian-Georgian border, according to the North Ossetian Road Traffic Organization Center.

The Gudauri-Kobi section of the Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Lars international highway has been closed in Georgia since February 16 due to deteriorating weather conditions.

According to the latest data, 2,542 vehicles are waiting to cross the checkpoint, 700 of which are Armenian.
