According to Aysor.am 's source, NA Speaker Alen Simonyan will participate in the re-consecration ceremony of the Mother Cathedral.
In a conversation with Aysor.am, the press spokesman of the NA Speaker, Movses Harutyunyan, said that he does not comment on the information, but noted that the media will be informed about the decision to participate, as necessary.
The Speaker of the National Assembly told the journalists that he was invited to the Consecration and Rededication ceremonies of the Cathedral, but he will not be able to participate, as he will be in Canada on an official visit.
Simonyan emphasized that if he were in Armenia, he would definitely go to the ceremonies.
On September 23, it became known that his visit to Canada was postponed.
