By a government decision, 100 percent of the shares of EEN (Electric Networks of Armenia) have been designated as an overriding public interest.
It should be recalled that the Government is designating 100 percent of EEN’s shares as an overriding public interest.
According to the justification for the decision, "the principle of overriding public interest allows the state to intervene when the right of citizens to receive uninterrupted and safe service is jeopardized."
