In Vanadzor, the search for two sisters, aged 7 and 13, continues in the Pambak River.

Let us remind you that on June 15, at 14:45, the Lori Regional Operational Management Center received an alarm that a child had fallen into the river on Arapnya Street in Vanadzor. Rescuers' help was needed. On the same day, at 17:05, a citizen also called 112 and reported that two children, aged 7 and 13, had left one of the addresses on Narekatsi Street in Vanadzor and had not reached the intended destination. The search operations that began the day before continue today. Rescue service personnel, 115, 86 police officers, volunteers, divers, drones, boats and other technical means are involved.

The residents of Vanadzor say that while crossing the pipe, the younger sister fell, and the older sister offered her hand to help, but she was too weak, and she herself fell into the water.

“This pipe has been killing people since 1986-87 until now,” says one of the residents of Narekatsi Street in the city of Anadzor, explaining why the pipe passes there.
