Today, during the government-NA question-and-answer session, CP MP Emma Palyan asked Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan about the rally he will initiate in Echmiadzin.

"I imagine a large event with spiritual content in the central square of Etchmiadzin, which should be the culmination of that action. Now we are discussing the timing, organizational and content issues. It is very important here that this event has spiritual content. Recently, I have been spending a lot of time explaining to our colleagues that the goal of this process is not to resolve personnel issues, the goal of this process is exclusively the renovation of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church, which is our, my sanctuary. As it is said in the Bible, we cannot throw our pearls before swine. We must purify the sanctuary of our holiness and its culmination will be in the central square of Etchmiadzin," Pashinyan said.

He added that there will be no political appeals or speeches, but "speeches with spiritual content" will be delivered.

"Compromise is out of the question. Brave Nersisyan must go, he will not help or save anything," Pashinyan insisted.
