Today, the interim manager of ENA, Romanos Petrosyan, reported to work for the first time. In a conversation with journalists, he noted that, as the interim manager of ENA CJSC, he will exercise his powers within the framework of the powers and authorities reserved to him by law, for the sake of the Republic of Armenia and its citizens.

“I have submitted all the documents to the ENA to exercise my powers,” he said. When asked how a company that is his own will enter, he said: “With all due respect to large businessmen, owners, whose property rights in our country are enshrined in the Constitution, but when obtaining a license, companies in the field of such services agreed that there may be situations when the state, authorized bodies, including the commission regulating the sector, can take imperative measures in the given body. The fulfillment of that license requirement is being carried out at the moment. I am sure that the large businessman is also aware of these regulations.” Regarding the statement of the acting director of the ENA, Davit Ghazinyan, that “we will remain in our ways,” Romanos Petrosyan said that Ghazinyan has no way to remain.

“David Ghazinyan in particular has no way of staying, he is one of the officials who brought the ENA to this state,” he declared. Asked whether they remember the ENA problems after 7 years, he said: “When would we remember, maybe we should ask you when we would remember? The process began months ago. This process was initiated by the dismissal of two high-ranking officials. The previous chairman of the PSRC left his post at the very beginning of his second term, and the deputy minister coordinating the energy sector of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources was also dismissed from his post about 9 months ago. The processes began with that.”
