In a conversation with journalists, the Chairman of the Central Electoral Commission Vahagn Hovakimyan was asked whether public criticism, insults and accusations of fraud do not have a psychological impact on him and do not hinder his work.


In response, Hovakimyan noted that it is his duty to protect the electoral rights of all citizens, regardless of their attitude towards him.


“They use bad words, call me a fraudster, and humiliate me. Doesn’t that reflect badly on you?” the journalists asked.
