Italian actress Claudia Cardinale (real name Claude Josephine Rose Cardinale) has died at the age of 87, ANSA reports.
His manager, Laurent Samri, told Corriere della Sera that Cardinale died "surrounded by his children" in the town of Nemours, near Paris, where he lived in the last years of his life.
It should be noted that Cardinale participated in the creation of such films as Federico Fellini's "Eight and a Half" (1963), Luciano Visconti's "The Leopard" (1963), Sergio Leone's "Once Upon a Time in the West" (1968), and "Mother" (1991).
He was also one of the main actors in the film "Mother" by Henri Vernoy (Ashot Malakyan).
