The “Hraparak” newspaper writes: “In parallel with the anti-Russian actions of the Armenian authorities, new lists of sanctions against Armenia are being developed in Russia, which are already available in open sources, which are openly discussed.
Moreover, the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to Armenia is also considered among the steps provoking anti-Russian actions.
Thus, the Russian side envisages restrictions on the import of seasonal agricultural products and flowers from Armenia to Russia, as well as on the purchase of certain mining products from Armenia (molybdenum ore, decorative stone, etc.). The other package, which is more dangerous, concerns the revision of agreements on the utilization of nuclear waste from the Metsamor nuclear power plant.
In other words, the waste will no longer be taken from Armenia, and there are no appropriate conditions for their utilization in our country, and this may lead to an ecological disaster. In addition to this, there are individual restrictions on the real estate and financial assets of Armenian businessmen and civil servants in Russia, the demonstrative expulsion of some from Russia, the ban on entry, etc.
