Famous Russian-based humorist Garik Martirosyan also responded to the arrest of businessman and philanthropist Samvel Karapetyan, expressing his concern about the current situation. The humorist's wife, Zhanna Levina Martirosyan, posted a photo of her husband in the story section of her Instagram page, accompanied by the following text:

"In recent days, I have been constantly asked for my opinion on the situation surrounding our compatriot, major benefactor and my senior friend Samvel Karapetyan. Samvel Karapetyan has always helped and supported thousands of Armenians, including me, in many issues. I am of course concerned about this situation and hope that it will find a positive resolution in the very near future, that is, Mr. Karapetyan will be released and return to his family. I am confident that our compatriot Samvel Karapetyan will emerge from this difficult situation with honor. I wish strength and courage to Samvel Karapetyan and his family."
