Before the election process, we believed that the opposition could cooperate very actively, other forces were trying to maintain a certain distance from us, now I believe that cooperation is necessary, this is undoubtedly within the framework of our general approach, the 2nd President of the Republic of Armenia Robert Kocharyan stated this in a conversation with journalists, speaking about Samvel Karapetyan’s proposal to unite the opposition.

“Let me give an example of effectiveness: the Republic of Armenia. In the 2017 parliamentary elections, the Republican Party of Armenia won a convincing victory, about 9 months later, a revolution, a change of power, was that possible?” Kocharyan said.
