Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to Trump

President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan sent a congratulatory message to US President-elect Donald Trump on his election as the 47th President of the United States of America.

"I am sure that you will use your experience and reputation, as well as your responsibility towards your own country and people, in the best possible way for the sake of maintaining and strengthening a powerful state.

We highly appreciate the role and efforts of the United States in ensuring peace and stability in our region.

We attach great importance to the existing bilateral relations between Armenia and the United States, which continue to develop upward, including new areas of cooperation, where special importance is given to the format of the Strategic Dialogue.

The Armenian community of America also has its unique contribution to the development of close and multi-faceted Armenian-American interaction, which plays a bridging role in the direction of deepening the friendship between the two states and peoples," the message reads.
