Legendary Soviet football player and coach Nikita Simonyan has died.

Nikita Simonyan celebrated his 99th birthday on October 12.
The death of the Olympic champion was announced by Alexander Mirzoyan, president of the Russian Football Veterans Union.
"On November 20, Nikita Simonyan was hospitalized due to poor health. Today he passed away," Mirzoyan was quoted as saying by Match TV.
Nikita Simonyan headed Yerevan's Ararat from 1973 to 1974, with whom he became the USSR champion and cup winner. He also worked at Ararat in 1984 to 1985.
As a player for Spartak Moscow, he became a four-time USSR champion and a two-time champion as a head coach.
