North Korea fires projectile towards Sea of Japan

The DPRK has fired an unidentified projectile into the Sea of Japan, South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said, RIA Novosti reported.
"The DPRK has fired an unidentified projectile into the Sea of Japan (East)," the military said.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff said they were currently analyzing the characteristics of the projectile and its flight distance. According to Japan's Maritime Safety Administration, the ballistic missile, which was allegedly launched by the DPRK, has already fallen.
"The ballistic missile, which was allegedly launched by the DPRK, has already fallen," the agency said, just a minute after the report of the possible launch of a ballistic missile.
