The license to operate a casino issued to “Onira Club” LLC has been suspended. The document was signed and published by Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan.

“Onira Club” owned by the family of Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan, which received a casino license from the Ministry of Finance in 2014, according to the published document, presented “distorted and false data” in its financial report for March of this year.

Inconsistencies were recorded in the readings of the gaming machine counters, in particular, bet (Bet), win (Win), money in (In), money out (Out). The data was transferred to the Ministry of Economy by the State Revenue Committee.

About a month ago, in the hot days of the parliamentary election campaign, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan announced that the “Araratcement” factory owned by Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik Tsarukyan would soon be returned to the state. The Prosecutor's Office's statement was also not late. The Prosecutor's Office examined the privatization process of Ararat Cement in 2002 and discovered violations.
