Russian FSB arrests gang that supplied stolen diamonds to Khachatur Sukiasyan's company

The Russian Federal Security Service has arrested a gang that stole diamonds from the Alrosa company and supplied them to MP Khachatur Sukiasyan. The Russian Federal Security Service reported this. “The stolen diamonds entered Armenia through ADID Diamond LLC, the beneficiary of which is Armenian businessman and local MP Khachatur Sukiasyan,” the FSB reported. Svetlana Petrenko, a representative of the Russian Investigative Committee, told RIA Novosti that the activities of a group of individuals who systematically committed embezzlement for the purpose of further illegal sale and smuggling of diamond raw materials in Armenia were prevented. The company’s employee Valentina Matyushenkova, her son Alexei Matyushenkov, as well as smugglers Armen Petrosyan and Arman Sahakyan were arrested.
