Armenian national team and Krasnodar midfielder Eduard Spertsyan may be suspended for 10 games, ArmSport.am reports, citing Sport24.
"Actions by a player or club official aimed at inciting hatred or hostility, as well as humiliation of the dignity of an individual or group of persons on the basis of gender, race, nationality, language, origin, religious affiliation or membership in any social group, committed publicly, including through the mass media or information and telecommunications networks (including the Internet), are punishable by disqualification of the guilty player or club official for up to 10 matches and a fine in accordance with paragraph 44 of Appendix 1 to these regulations," the Russian Football Union regulations state.
Recall that in the 11th round of the RPL, in the home match against Akhmat (2:0), the opponent's defender Ousmane Ndong was sent off with a straight red card for hitting Spertsyan in the jaw. In an interview after the match, the Senegalese accused Spertsyan of making racist insults towards him.
