The Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrated the memory of the virgins of St. Hripsime

On June 16, the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church celebrated the memory of the Virgins of St. Hripsime. That holiday is also the day of the dedication of the St. Hripsime Monastery.
In the morning, a procession of clergy from the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, accompanied by believers, and to the beat of drums by the students of the Armenian Children's House of Etchmiadzin, moved to the Holy Hripsime Monastery, carrying the relics of the Holy Virgin Hripsime.
In front of the Arch of St. Gregory the Illuminator, the Patriarch of All Armenians blessed the clergy and the pious people present with his sacred right hand, passing it on to the Archbishop of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Eminence Fr. Ananias Tsaturyan.
In front of the St. Hripsime Monastery, the procession was welcomed by the monastery's spiritual ministers and numerous pilgrims from different places, led by His Eminence Bishop Artak Tigranyan, the Vicar of the Mother See of Armenia.
On the occasion of the blessed holiday, a Holy and Immortal Liturgy was served at the St. Hripsime Monastery. The celebrant was His Eminence, Bishop Shnorhk Tonikyan, a member of the Armenian Patriarchate of Constantinople.
The congregation of the Mother See and many Armenian pilgrims were present at the sacred ceremony of the procession.
In his sermon, the celebrant, Father Holiness, referring to the day's sermon, exhorted the faithful to follow the example of the holy virgins of Hripsime, who, with their hope and faith in God, disregarded all the trials, temptations, and even death of temporal life, remaining faithful to their Christian vow.
In conclusion, Father Shnorhk urged the faithful to seek the intercession of the saint in their prayers to be strengthened and strengthened in their faith, and to always keep the Armenian churches beautiful and unshakable.
At the end of the liturgy, presided over by His Grace Bishop Artak Tigranyan, the overseer of Vanore, the Order of the Holy Family was performed with the Right Hand of the Saint's relic.
