The Rescue Service informs that there are closed and impassable highways in the territory of the Republic of Armenia.
The highways leading from the “Amberd” high-mountain meteorological station in Aragatsotn province to Amberd Fortress and Lake Kari are closed.
The Dilijan, Spitak and Voskepar bends, Vanadzor-Spitak, Alaverdi-Vanadzor, Dilijan-Vanadzor, Stepanavan-Vanadzor and the highways from the Chiva settlement to Zangakatun are closed for trucks with trailers.
The Vardenyats mountain pass, the Gyumri-Bavra highway are impassable for trucks with trailers.
There is black ice in places on the highways of Shirak, Lori and Gegharkunik provinces.
Snow is falling in the Aparan, Aragats regions and Gegharkunik province.
We urge drivers to drive exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is closed to all types of vehicles.
