The highway leading from the Amberd high-mountain meteorological station to Lake Kari in Aragatsotn region is closed.

There is black ice in places in the highlands of Syunik region and on the Ashotsk-Bavra highway.

Drivers are advised to drive exclusively with winter tires.

According to information received from the Emergency Situations Department of the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Crisis Management Center of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in North Ossetia, the Stepantsminda-Lars highway is open to all types of vehicles.
