Nikolyan and Kocharyan supporters, play far away

In the summer of 2020, when everyone was celebrating the “victory of the July heroic battle” and the revolutionary euphoria was at its peak, I was trying to open the eyes of Armenians in an uncomfortable and very alien format for me. The kitchen format was not chosen by chance - there was a need to direct the attention and gaze of as many people as possible to the impending disaster, to talk to people. It was difficult to do this, but everyone chooses their own path.

Nikolyan supporters began to fixate on the “kitchen”, Kocharyan supporters made a point of only one episode, cutting it out of context and inventing conspiracy theories, even accusing me of financing the revolution by taking part of the newspaper’s circulation. The accusers are those who were blocking the street by tearing the buttocks of those standing next to Nikol. Those same people are now looking for “Nikolin bringers” with the same enthusiasm. Look at your biography to find Nikol and the revolution parents and breadwinners in your own ranks.

In 2020, I talked about everything, I spoke with facts: about old OSA-AKs bought from Jordan for ten times more than the market price, about SUs without missiles, which the revolutionaries presented as evidence of closing the “shameful page of the weapons of the 80s.” I was trying to warn the people caught up in revolutionary euphoria that these deals were a bluff and would cost thousands of lives, since Artsakh had already been declared “Armenia and the end”, the negotiations had failed, and the countdown had begun.

2020. Six years have passed. During these years, tragic and bloody events have occurred one after another:

· Defeat in a betrayed war

· Final surrender of Artsakh

· Decline of Artsakh’s thousand-year-old civilization

· Surrender of the Goris interstate road

· Occupation of the heights of Jermuk and Syunik

· Surrender of Tavush villages

The series can be continued…

Amidst great tragedies, with the promise of “carrying”, in 2021. Nikol and Nikolism were legitimized and reproduced, which finally closed the Karabakh issue. The political field was divided into Kocharyans and Nikolians, and because of this division, the overwhelming majority of the people became “depoliticized” so as not to have to choose between the bad and the worst. The beneficiaries of this division are two people: One convinced the Armenian people that no matter what, they would not consider themselves defeated, and the other, after “not winning,” declared that “there is no one prize, those who did not pass the National Assembly lost.” Then, in essence, he disappeared, encouraging and financing mercenaries living in Armenia and Russia to hide his guilt, or rather, his inability, in the aggressive search for the guilty.

In parliament, they talk about everything, have heated discussions, push each other, go on business trips together, have fun in Europe, give out prizes in turn, making everything seem less serious. They no longer even talk about Artsakh, Artsakh Armenians, prisoners of Baku, or the existential challenges. They are silent about all that.

Instead, the Nikolists and Kocharyanists, their proxies, without giving each other a turn, are circulating a 6-year-old and out-of-context episode, distorting, manipulating and lying, saying that I gave Nikol an envelope, that I financed his “team”, they invent some numbers and rejoice.

I repeat what I said: unlike you, the Nikolists and Kocharyanists, I do not renounce my words, I do not hide behind words and I do not manipulate. Unlike you, I have the will and courage to speak about my own mistakes voluntarily. All my mistakes are human. Unlike Nikolyan's supporters, I did not surrender the homeland, unlike Kocharyan's supporters, I did not create fertile geopolitical soil for the revolution, I did not selflessly try to take advantage of the revolution, and in the end I did not legitimize the capitulation and the one who surrendered Artsakh (the first three consciously, the last two out of incompetence).

I do not think that they legitimized it because that was the plan. I do not believe in conspiracy theories. The situation is simpler and sadder: these people are incapable of anything else. They do not have the courage to accept reality and come out..

I simply note that Kocharyan's team and his insane advisors (not to be confused with the deputies), hand in hand with Nikolyan's supporters, with artificial agendas, manipulations and lies, have been continuously dooming the country to new disasters since 2021.

I fix my gaze and move forward, watching how they stand singing the same song, the old and familiar rake.

Play far away.
