Why was the meeting of the Prime Minister of Georgia with the Catholicos not organized? "Fact"

"Fact" daily writes: "The Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze arrived in Armenia on an official visit a few days ago. He met Nikol Pashinyan, Vahagn Khachaturyan, and held a press conference with the former. Users on social networks noticed that unlike the leaders of other countries who visited Armenia, Kobakhidze's meeting with the Catholicos of All Armenians was not organized.

"Fact" tried to get an answer from the government as to why such a procedural "deviation" was allowed. Prime Minister's press secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan said in response. "I am the spokesperson of the RA Prime Minister, I am authorized to answer regarding the Prime Minister's meetings."

We also turned to the spokesperson of the Foreign Ministry, Ani Badal, who answered our question as follows. "The scope of meetings taking place within the framework of official visits is determined by mutual agreement, taking into account the agenda of the visit and the range of issues to be discussed. The meetings held within the framework of the visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia to Armenia were publicly informed by relevant messages.

Another episode is noteworthy. In the past, during the coverage of the visits of high-ranking officials, especially heads of state, who came to Armenia, special emphasis was placed on their visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial, special reports were prepared. This time, the Prime Minister's official website only states that "Irakli Kobakhidze visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial".

The office of the Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Khachatryan was a little more "generous", whose message states that "Kobakhidze visited the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex, laid flowers and paid tribute to the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide".
