"Zhoghovurd": Deputy ministers will leave their positions

The “Zhoghovurd” daily writes: “The Minister of Health of the Republic of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, is currently in Turkey, while the expected personnel changes are still being discussed in the ministry. The point is that Nikol Pashinyan announced after the elections that no changes in ministers are planned, but personnel reshuffles below the higher levels will definitely take place.

After that announcement, the changes have already started. Yesterday it became known that two deputy ministers of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Affairs resigned from their posts, and, apparently, the same process is expected in the Ministry of Health.

Government-informed sources of the “Zhoghovurd” daily report that Astghik Grigoryan and Levon Hakobyan will be dismissed from their deputy ministerial posts. As for Lena Nanushyan, according to our sources, the decision on her dismissal is also highly expected, taking into account her past path, the failures recorded during her tenure, and the problems that, according to our information, cannot be ignored when making personnel decisions.

In order to obtain clarification on the topic, the “Zhoghovurd” daily turned to Mariam Tsatryan, the press secretary of the Minister of Health. The latter listened to our questions and promised to contact her later, but after that our phone calls remained unanswered.

It is obvious that personnel processes are continuing in the Ministry of Health, and, perhaps, this is precisely the reason for the silence of the department.
