The Zhoghovurd daily writes: “On November 26, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted a delegation led by Polish President Andrzej Duda, who is on an official visit to Armenia, at the Government. This visit seems to have cost the Polish President a little dearly.

According to the "Form for Registration of Gifts by a Person Holding a Public Office or Public Servant" submitted to the Corruption Prevention Commission, on November 26, Nikol Pashinyan received a gift from Polish President Andrzej Duda: 3 pairs of cufflinks for men's clothing, made of 925 sterling silver, with stones. The stones are amber and onyx.

The cost of the jewelry was 74,577 drams.

We would like to inform you that if the value of a gift provided for in paragraphs 1 or 4 of the aforementioned law (excluding usually organized entertainment) exceeds 60,000 drams, it is considered state or community property. Persons holding public office and public servants are obliged to hand it over to the state or community in accordance with the established procedure. In addition, a person holding public office and a public servant are obliged to register the permissible gifts received by them in the gift registration register. Permissible gifts with a value not exceeding 40,000 drams are not subject to registration, except for cases of periodic (5 or more) receipt of gifts from the same source within 6 months. The value of gifts is assessed based on the reasonable market value that can be estimated through open sources.
