According to a statement from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, the F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter jet crashed during a training flight in "controlled airspace over California."
According to a statement from Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada, the F-16C Fighting Falcon fighter jet crashed during a training flight in "controlled airspace over California."

As reported by ABC News, according to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the pilot was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

The US Air Force said in a statement that an investigation is underway into the circumstances of yesterday's crash. Additional information will be released later.
