According to a new decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, starting November 1, 2025, the image of Mount Ararat will no longer be on the border sign (stamp) at the entrance or exit of the Republic of Armenia, this was announced by Edmon Marukyan, Chairman of the "Bright Armenia" party.

"The Republic of Armenia has not had and does not have territorial claims against Turkey. Armenia has joined the UN, the WTO, the Council of Europe, and many other organizations, and Turkey has never hindered our membership with these claims. There have been no such claims from Turkey."

Understand correctly: what our government is doing has nothing to do with Armenia's non-existent territorial claims against Turkey. All of this is simply part of the process of editing the identity of our state.

"If we do not remove Nikol Pashinyan through elections, then with the next decision the image of Mount Ararat will also be removed from the coat of arms," Marukyan noted.
