“Pastinfo” writes: “The reassignment of the case of His Holiness the Patriarch and the six bishops has not yet taken place.
As we have already reported, Judge Hakob Manukyan has recused himself, refusing to examine the case of His Holiness and the six bishops.
At the moment, there are only two judges in the General Jurisdiction Court of Armavir Region who can be assigned to the case. One of them is Judge Serzh Rushanyan, the other is Arman Babakhanyan. The problem is that currently the main part of the judges examining criminal cases is on vacation, the choice is between these two judges.
By the way, it is interesting that the official page of the judiciary, which includes the schedule of judges’ vacations, does not contain data on the vacation of Armavir judges; it is not excluded that they will try to recall their own judges from vacation to assign the case.
