Armen Abazyan has been dismissed from the post of NSS Director: source

The “Chronicle of the Caucasus” telegram channel writes that Armen Abazyan has been dismissed from the post of Director of the National Security Service of Armenia. “Our sources in Armenia report that the head of the National Security Service of Armenia, Armen Abazyan, has been dismissed from his post,” the publication states. The information has not yet been officially confirmed.

Abazyan was appointed Director of the National Security Service on November 8, 2020. On January 12, 2024, he was reappointed to that position.
