The US will continue to support defense reforms in Armenia by leveraging its capabilities – US official.

Representatives of the RA Ministry of Defence, the Commander of the US Kansas National Guard, Brigadier General Paul Schneider, and representatives from various bodies of the US Department of Defense participated in the consultations. Programs implemented within the framework of defense cooperation between Armenia and the US in recent years were reviewed.
The potential for developing cooperation across all areas of partnership was examined. Summarizing the results of the consultations, Major General Yeroyan emphasized that cooperation in all these areas is being carried out within the framework of the transformation process of the RA Armed Forces. US Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense Andrew Loomis noted that the US would continue to support defense reforms in Armenia, leveraging its full capacity—including advisory services, experience sharing, and other support programs—to assist in the army transformation processes. At the conclusion of the consultations, the parties signed a protocol regarding the work performed and the agreements reached.
