Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan is being questioned as a witness by the Investigative Committee: lawyer

Artsakh President Samvel Shahramanyan has been summoned to the Military Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee for questioning.

"We are currently in the Investigative Committee, Samvel Shahramanyan is being questioned, but only as a witness," Shahramanyan's lawyer Roman Yeritsyan told Aysor.am , without providing any other details.

It should be noted that the President of Artsakh is being questioned as a witness in the criminal case of surrendering military equipment to the enemy and military negligence during wartime. It should be noted that the criminal proceedings were initiated back in 2023, and only two years later was Samvel Shahramanyan questioned for the first time, while he should have been on the list of the very first to be questioned.
