On the air of the "Imnemnimi" podcast, answering a question, Mkhitaryan emphasized that he is not thinking about the elections at all right now. There are important issues to resolve at the moment.

"Honestly, I'm not thinking about the elections at all yet. It may seem to some that I'm avoiding the answer, but I, my opposition colleagues from different factions of the Gyumri Council of Elders, have a problem to solve right now, and if we can't solve that problem and can't keep Gyumri, then what kind of election are we talking about? Once again, it will turn out that it doesn't matter how the elections end, Nikol will do whatever he wants," said Ruben Mkhitaryan.

He emphasized that today he is not even thinking about whether, if the elections are held, he will participate alone or in cooperation with any political force.

"They are spreading various kinds of rumors, saying that I am with this force, that force... Dear friends, I can confidently say that at the moment I have not decided whether I will participate in the elections or not, in what format I will participate, in cooperation with which political force, whether I will participate alone or not. These issues are not essential for me at all now."
