"By going through 44 days of defeat, we have gained the opportunity to have an independent, sovereign state," Pashinyan said at a meeting with representatives of the Armenian community in Washington.
"I also wouldn't want us to come to the conclusion as a result of these analyses that the sacrifice of our fallen martyrs was for nothing. I disagree with that position."
"Those sacrifices were made for the independence and sovereignty of Armenia, and now we must focus on using the opportunity of those sacrifices," Pashinyan noted.
